Lucy W. Jordan was born and raised in Mobile, Alabama. She graduated from Troy State University in 1997 with a Bachelor of Science in English, where she was a member of the Sigma Tau Delta English Honor Society and Alpha Gamma Delta sorority. She graduated from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University in 2001. During the Summer of 2000, Lucy clerked for U.S. Senator Jeff Sessions on the Senate Judiciary Committee during the 106th Congress.

Lucy's practice focuses primarily on construction defect litigation, Chinese drywall litigation, asbestos litigation, premises liability, personal injury defense, automobile accident defense, and general insurance defense. She has also worked on workers compensation cases, and has handled Medicare regulatory appeals on behalf of hospices in Alabama and Georgia.

Lucy was admitted to the Alabama State Bar in 2001 after graduating from Cumberland. She is also admitted to practice before the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals and all U. S. District Courts in Alabama.

Lucy is married to Jason Jordan of Ozark, Alabama and is the mother of three young children. She is a member of Riverchase United Methodist Church, where she teaches 4th grade Sunday School.
